Analysis of corporate films:
Kloud Clothing:
Throughout this corporate film, there was swearing and also a song that had been placed over the top that included what viewers would call offensive language. As well as this, there was also another low point from this film, there music throughout was too loud, and sometimes I couldn’t tell what was being said in the interviews because of that, the volume in the interviews could have been turned up a little bit more and the music turned down. One of the more positive aspects from this film is that what was being said within the interviews made sense. You get some interviews where the interviewees will go off topic and then forgot what the question even was, but that didn’t happen in this one. One of the points explained was that the business wasn’t all about the money. Another positive aspect within this film is that it shows people modelling the clothes, but them having a good time whilst doing so. This is shown through the girl model laughing at something the guy model did or said. It also shows that the company doesn’t just make clothes, they handle deliveries to, which could mean that the company is quite popular. Another thing within this film is that the interviewers didn’t just interview the same people within the company; they interviewed what looked like most of the employees. This is good because everyone within the company will have a different view on things and they same information won’t just be repeated. The last thing that was good within this film is that it shows employees picking the designs of which they were going to create. This is a good thing to show because it means that the company is properly invested within their business and they don’t just pay people to do things like that for them.
BMW:
Throughout this corporate film, there isn’t much speak, only some laughing, there aren’t any interviews which could be a low point for this film. One of the good points within this film is that it shows a family interested in buying a car from this company, and that the family’s son had his opinion in there too, even without any words. The music in this film is medium paced which matched some of the edits within the film. As well as this, some of the better qualities of each car is shown, this is because the company want viewers to see that and then for them to become interested in becoming a customer of BMW. In this film, it shows a family finding their ideal car, which the company would then hope to get more customers from showing that, with hopes to boost their satisfaction rate.
